Apprenticeship Case Studies

Mariah Sutton

After being made redundant from a previous job during lockdown, Mariah started an apprenticeship at Polaris aftern being referred to the business by a friend. After completing her apprenticeship in August 2022, Mariah has now progressed to being the recruitment coordinator at Polaris Community.

Holly Granger

Starting as an Admin Apprentice in February 2018, Holly studied the Level 3
Business Administrator course at Heart of Worcestershire College. She has now progressed to the role of Purchase Ledger Manager and is now mentoring other apprentices as they start their careers.

Callum Rogers

Callum started as an IT Service Desk Analyst Apprentice in 2014 when he was 17 years old. After a year, he was offered a full time role as an IT Service Desk Analyst and has since progressed to his current role of Network & Technical Field Manager.

The Academy will offer opportunities from within the Polaris community as well as some with partner organisations.
